A traditional Chinese watercolor painting, one of my favorites... it's hanging in my room. My dad took the picture of this one, he did it at an angle to avoid glare from the flash or light shining on the glass from the window.
Again, the caligraphy was done by my mom's friend. It says "Wei Xiao Feng Sheng." A literal translation wouldn't make sense, but metaphorically it means you can feel the tiger's power even without hearing the tiger's roar.
Ooohh I'd love to see a straight-on view of this sometime! Though it looks amazing even at an agle. It totally looks like something I've seen in a chinese art store recently O_O
it's so awesome...though I wish I can veiw the image in frontal veiw to get a better look at the details. but hey, it looks awesome in an angle shot as well. How big is this painting...and how long did it took you to finish??? Luv that tiger.
Great painting! I agree with what some other people have put and would love to see a view from the front but it is still stunning as it is! Would like to have it on my wall!
