For the record, I do not consider being told that my art has "Japanese" flair as a compliment. Please cease and desist in using Japanese art of any kind as a comparison to my art.

First of all, I am 100% Chinese, and to be brutally honest, being called "Japanese" can often be considered an insult to many Chinese people.

Secondly, I don't even know what sumi-e is. I am trained in traditional Chinese painting (trad: 國畫 / simp: 国画), NOT "sumi-e."

Third, I honestly don't like my style *because* I think it looks too much like Anime.
